Andie Madsen is an independent producer based in Bozeman, Montana. She will be developing Paranormal Society, a short observational film about a local paranormal society in her hometown.

Gabriel “Gabo” Ponte Fleary

Gabriel “Gabo” Ponte Fleary is a Deaf, award-winning multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Venezuela. Fleary’s project titled #FreeDeafRico tells the story of Rico, an African American Deaf man who has been wrongfully incarcerated in Georgia since 2013.

Maya Wise is a queer, disabled film and impact producer working on a short documentary that brings intergenerational Jewish voices into conversation with one another. The film asks how the roots of this ancient religion can guide us in grappling with the violence of Zionism and healing the wounds of the past. 

Vega Darling

Vega Darling is a queer, trans, and chronically ill documentary filmmaker committed to preserving overlooked histories of resistance. Darling will be developing Frightwig!, the untold story of the feminist punk band that helped spark riot grrrl and grunge. Raw, rebellious, and decades ahead of their time, Frightwig! is a fierce reminder that real change always makes noise.
